On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 paddlers headed up the Mystic River dressed as Tarzan and Jane. This annual paddle event coincided with the town’s annual Tarzan Brown Mystic River 5.5 mile race. In the early afternoon, the runners could be seen along the river as the paddleboarders raced against the current. A refreshing two-hour paddle warmed the body as the sun sparkled in the sky, offsetting the cold temperature. The participants glided over the water and took turns, passing one another until they reached the loading beach. Challenge accepted and a winner victorious. It was a perfect day to be out on the water in November.

If you’d like to be Tarzan or Jane next year, come join us for the third annual race!
